What is it about a laughing baby that we can't resist? We all go hopelessly, sentimentally, soft and silly when we hear or see them. Of course it's usually someone else's little darling, not our own. Ours is usually screaming his head off for more ice-cream. I love the way the look of absolute terror turns to giggles.
