Before the 2016 Oscars began, fashion blog Total Beauty made the unfortunate attempt to weigh in on the Oscars went horribly wrong when it confused an image of Whoopi Goldberg for Oprah Winfrey. The website Total Beauty tweeted a photo of Goldberg showing off her massive shoulder tattoo with the caption: "We had no idea Oprah was tatted, and we love it." The website responded,. "We'd like to apologize to Oprah and Whoopi, as well as everyone we've offended. It was our error, and there are no excuses. We're sorry."
The tweet was eventually deleted, but nevertheless made its way to Oprah herself. Best friend Gayle King posted a photo of the media mogul's reaction on Instagram, writing, "@Oprah & favorite daughter watching #Oscars & seeing @totalbeauty snafu! We all love @whoopigoldberg but we don't all look alike Jeeeze!"
I laugh so loud when I saw this article this morning ... there is not a lot of good journalists out there anymore . Some sites don't have proof readers and some can't spell worth a shit Hahahaha! If it's an article or important papers I do spell it correctly , as I see it people that's doing this for a living should proof read and check their facts .

Whoopi has the right attitude. Brush it off...just as you would any comment from a bunch of idiots. If you make a big deal out of it, you are giving it more importance and attention than it deserves. It's better not to lower yourself to respond to a fool. Place yourself above it and you get more respect.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are still a whirlwind of energy and activity and keeping up with those cubs. Has your weather settled? Very bad weather setting in up here. The temperature dropped from 10 degrees above freezing to 21 degrees below. Snow is falling so thick you can't see your hand in front of your face. I can hear Brian and the neighbors starting up ploughs and snow blowers. We are expecting at least a foot of snow and may be snowed in tomorrow. Feeling down in the dumps about some things. Sorry if I haven't kept in touch.I am just going to check IM to see if there is anything new.
