Pretty Kitty


This is a handsewn toy.
Materials


  • Fur cloth. Beige (semi long hair), brown and white (short).
  • Felt (for inside ears and the neck).
  • Joint 3.5 cm.
  • Plastic or glass eyes. 11 - 13 millimeters.
  • Polyester fiberfill.
  • Thick thread (for mouth and toe).
  • Gut (for whiskers)

KITTY HEAD
Cutting
  1. Cut the materials with 4 mm seam allowance.
    The ear needs no allowance.
  2. Cut the hair of the cheek and nose.
  3. I used the plastic joint.
    Cutting
Sewing
  1. Sew the cheek to the head side.
    b-c is longer than b-c'. You have to shrink and sew.
    Stitch the cheek
  2. Sew the crest to the head sides.
  3. Sew the chin to the head.

Stuffing
  1. Turn inside out. Stuff fiberfill in the head.
  2. Sew the opening around. Put the disk of joint in it, then pull the thread.

Decorate
Paint around the nose with felt-tip pen.
Paint the face
  1. Stitch the nose and mouth.

  2. Attach the eyes.

  3. Glue the inside ear to the fur cloth.
    Cut out the fur. Cut the air of fur.
    Make ears
    You may sew the ears. 
  4. Stitch the ear to the crest.

  5. Stitch whiskers to the cheeks.

Cutting Body
    1. Cut the parts with seam allowance.

    Sewing

    1. Sew the paw to the foreleg.
    2. Sew the inside legs to the belly.
    3. Sew the dart of the thigh. Sew the outside legs to the side body.
      Sew the body parts
    4. Make a small hole in the felt of the neck. Sew it to the body.
    5. Sew the tail.
    6. Turn inside out.

    Set and stuff

    1. Insert the projection of the joint of the head into the felt of the body.
      Set the washer and stopper of the joint on the inside of the body.
      AttachedEmpty body.

    Finish

    1. Stuff fiberfill in the body and the feet.
    2. Cloth the opening.
    3. Cut the hair of the legs.
