I guess only the very rich and privileged will survive WW3 or the next meteor shower or global climate change disaster or super-bug pandemic. But there is a flaw in their reasoning. After decades of polar ice cap melting from global warming then decades of freezing rain from the nuclear winter, they may be under water or, more likely, under ice. How will they get out?? Those few of us that made it to the mountains and hid in a cave with just a back pack may have the last laugh.
