Lawyer Deirdre O'Connor is a true hero. After learning that the key witness in a 1998 murder trial was known to be a serial liar, Deirdre helped Susan Mellen regain her freedom after she spent 17 years in prison for a crime she did not commit. On October 10, 2014, Ms. Mellen was released and finally reunited with her three children.
