Kate Middleton : Give Shamrocks To Irish Guards On St. Patrick's Day

Kate Middleton understook her first solo military engagement on St. Patrick's Day , participating in the military parade in Aldershot , England .
Sporting an emerald-green dress and a gold broach , the Duchess of Cambridge handed out shamrocks to 40 members of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards .
She also pinned one on the collar of regiment's mascot C ormeal .
Middleton got right into the spirit of the festivities , sipping sherry along side the Irishmen .
Last year , Prince William was made honorary colonel of the regiment .
Just a thought : Such a gorgeous woman , inside and out . A great role model of elegance , class and true beauty , a lot of young women can learn from her . She always holds herself with poise and confidence and is a fantastic role model for anyone .
